REACH Advocacy

What We Do

REACH Advocacy is a community-minded organization seeking safe, supportive housing for people experiencing chronic homelessness in the Rochester, NY, region. We have a threefold mission led by three teams.

Project Haven

Provides a continuum of sheltering options in private rooms to meet the needs of each guest. Supportive services from our partner agencies will provide everyone with the optimum opportunity to recover from the trauma associated with homelessness and prepare them to transition into permanent housing.

Edgerton Meadows

The first tiny home village in Rochester, NY, will provide permanent supportive housing for people with extremely low incomes. The community of twelve code-compliant, ADA-accessible rental units will have a resident manager, a meeting room, off-street parking, bike lockers, and a community garden.

Advocacy

Working for more equitable housing policies and practices—we are committed to the belief that housing is a human right and work to see that this value informs the public dialogue around housing justice.
